The potter Ian Godfrey (1942-92) was an important figure in British studio pottery in the 1960/70s and is best known for his sculptural work. This portrait would have been early in his career.

Excellent used condition. Minor marks. 

Royce Sutcliffe was a New Zealand born artist who worked in London and Paris in the early 1960s. He had an exhibition of his work in 1962. It is believed that this work is from that exhibition. He later moved to Australia.
