Nils Wedel (1897-1967) was a Swedish artist. After studying art in Gotenburg he went to Paris where he studied with Orthon Freize and met and was influenced by Fernand Léger. Modernist in style, his work often has a semi-abstract character. He produced friezes, original paintings and prints and is well-known in his home country where his work has a strong following.
