Art and Antiques for Everyone, NEC Birmingham, July 2019

This was our stand at the Art and Antiques for Everyone fair at the NEC, Birmingham in July 2019. It was the first time we had done the full four days of this vetted fair. Previously they had also held a two day weekend section in an adjacent room and we had done that three times but as that was no longer running we decided to take the step of exhibiting in the main hall for the four days. Set up was on Tuesday with vetting of stock for quality and authenticity on the Wednesday - all our items passed. The fair itself ran from the Thursday through to the Sunday, with Thursday and Saturday the busiest days. We sold across the range of our stock including glass, ceramics, jewellery and paintings. Glass did particularly well with pieces by Vicke Lindstrand and Tapio Wirkkala going to collectors. We also sold our star item, a beautiful ariel glass vase by Matz Borgstrom for Orrefors.
