Peter Wright (1919-2003) was a leading British Studio ceramicist. After World War II he studied ceramics at Hornsey School of Art. He establised his own studio near bath in 1954. His later work focused on sculptural forms but he sometimes introduced text into his work. His work was exhibited at the Victoria and Albert Museum in 1957 and is held i museums worldwide.
