While best known for the red earthenware pieces, Poole Atlantis range also included high fired stoneware pieces as well.

The Poole Atlantis range of studio ceramics in earthenware and stoneware were developed by Guy Sydenham in the 1960s and were in production from 1969-77. A number of men and women worked in the Craft Section at Poole producing these original pieces on standard shapes and their own monogram was used on the base.
