Excellent condition. The way this has been cut when manufactured has left a number of rough edges. This is common on such pieces and is not later damage. 

The Poole Atlantis range of studio ceramics in earthenware and stoneware were developed by Guy Sydenham in the 1960s and were in production from 1969-77. A number of men and women worked in the Craft Section at Poole producing these original pieces on standard shapes and their own monogram was used on the base.
