Tony Laverick is a contemporary studio ceramicist who works primarily with porcelain. Originally from Sunderland, started out working for some of the Staffordshire potteries in Stoke on Trent before stablishing a studio in the Staffordshire Moorlands in the late 1980s. He make use of coloured slips and metals to build up the decoration on his vessels through multiple firings. He is a Fellow of the Craft Potters Association. He has exhibited internationally and his work is sold through galleries worldwide.
