Just Andersen Art-Deco pedestal silver bowl for GAB, Sweden. Marked Just Sterling 930 131.
This is 930 grade silver that Just Andersen used between 1922-28. The final number is a model number. Weight, 580g (20 ounces).
Excellent condition.
Just Andersen (1884-1943) was born in Greenland and worked in both Denmark and Sweden as a silversmth and metalwork designer in silver and bronze and other alloys such as Disko metal, which he developed. He also worked in pewter and brass. His work can be found in the National Museum in Stockholm and the Metropolitan Museum in New York.
