Bjorn Wiinblad (1918-2006) was a leading Danish painter and designer who worked in many materials but is best knows for his ceramic designs. Fairytale and fantasy scenes often figure prominently in his work. He worked with both Nymølle in Denmark and Rosenthal in Germany.
