Anne and Peter Stougaard Stoneware Vase Denmark

A fine piece of Danish studio ceramics by Anne and Peter Stougaard from Borholm. The vase dates from the 1960s/70s and shows a Japanese influence in its glaze effects.

The vased has their monogram on the base and is in excellent used condition.

Anne (1943 -) and Peter (1940-2006) have worked together producing fine studio ceramics. Their work includes use of a range of clay bodies such as porcelain and stoneware with a range of glaze techniques. These are real artisan pieces that are becoming highly collectable.
