The vase is in excellent used condition and has a clear set of marks on the base including the name of the designer and the number L1347.

John Orwar Lake (1921-2007) was a sculptor in ceramics who designed glass for the Ekenas factory from 1953-76. His work can be found in the National Museum in Stockholm.
