Signed Orrefors Expo NU 1690. A rare piece by Landberg designed to be shown in an exhibition.
Excellent used condition. Internal coloured spot of slightly different shade. This was an experimental exhibition piece.
Nils Landberg (1907-91) studied at the Industrial Design School in Gothenberg before joining Orrefors in 1925. He worked for them until his retirement in 1972. He is best known for his tulip glass goblets on tall, improbably thin looking stems but designed a full range of glass items for Orrefors. His work is held in museums worldwide.
