Ulrica Hydman Vallien hand painted Open Minds footed pedestal glass bowl in blue for Kosta Boda, Sweden 1980s. This is one of six colours used for this design. Individually hand painted and signed on the back of the bowl Ulrika  HV/LZ.

Ulrica Hydman Vallien (1938-2017) was a glass designer for Kosta best known for her hand-painted glass. She started out as a ceramicist but began to specialise in glass after 1972. Her work is held in collections worldwide.
