Haresfur have assembled a superb "Haresfur Collection" of 50 pieces of art glass from Finland in what is one of the largest collections of these beautiful items to go up for sale in the UK in many years. We have spent several years sourcing pieces for this exhibition mostly from Finland and the other Nordic countries. The selling exhibition offers collectors an opportunity to acquire many iconic pieces of glass made during the period from 1935-1985 by some of the best designers of that time.

In this collection we have some of the finest glass made in the mid-century period of the Twentieth Century. Finland was at the cutting edge of modern design during this time and we have pieces by many world-renowned designers such as Tapio Wirkkala, Gunnel Nyman, Kaj Franck, Timo Sarpaneva and Nanny Still. Also available in this collection are pre-war rarities and many beautiful later items by designers who are now starting to gain recognition.

We will be selling this Haresfur collection, with an accompanying limited edition catalogue, at the Art and Antiques for Everyone Fair at the NEC, Birmingham from 24th-27th November and simultaneously on our website.

A small preview selection will also be available at the modernshows.com fair at Dulwich College on 20th November. Prices range from £85-£1400.

Fully illustrated and with details on each piece, the numbered catalogue will be limited to 100 copies and will be available to buy for £10 through our website from 18th November. Anyone buying items from the exhibition will get a free copy.
