Bent Knudsen and his wife Anni started their own silversmithy in Denmark in 1956 after he had spent some years designing for Hans Hansen. Often designing together, they focused on producing high quality pieces of jewellery typically with simple, geometric designs. Sometimes these incorporated semi-precious stones and other times just on the metal. His work is widely collected and examples can be found in numerous museums in Denmark and internationally.
