A modernist brooch in the form of an abstract leaf by Danish silversmith Hugo Grün. Dating from aroud the 1960s, this brooch is in excellent vintage condition. It is marked Sterling Denmark HGr.
Hugo Grün and Co. were Danish silversmiths. As well as making jewellery and silver pieces they are well known amongst Danish ceramics collectors as they made silver lids for pots by leading Danish ceramics studios such as Arne Bang and Saxbo.
