Niels Erik From floral brooch, Denmark c1960s

Lovely floral brooch by Niels Erik From, Denmark. This brooch, probably from the 1960s-70s, comprises five rounded petals which have an even and attractive grey shading towards the centre where each petal is finished with a bead.

It is in excellent vintage condition and is marked in the typical way for Danish silver jewellery: Sterling Denmark N.E.From.

Niels Erik From (1908-86) was a jewellery company named after their founder. They were established in Copenhagen in 1931 and produced work in varying styles in keeping with the fashions of the day. They developed modernist designs in the 1970s when these were at the height of popularity.
