Niels Erik From pendant set with opal, Denmark c1960s

This Niels Erik From pendant is set with oval opal triplet (7mm long). It is 4cm long marked on the back 'From 925S' (for Sterling silver).  It is in very good used condition wih minor surface marks.

Niels Erik From (1908-86) was a jewellery company named after their founder. They were established in Copenhagen in 1931 and produced work in varying styles in keeping with the fashions of the day. They developed modernist designs in the 1970s when these were at the height of popularity.
