Niels Erik From torque, Denmark 1960s

This silver torque by Niels Erik From, Denmark c1960s is slim, being 5mm deep at the front, and a lovely, simple design. It will fit a neck up to 38cm but, if needed, could be adjusted by a jeweller. It bears the marks: NEFrom (in script), 925S Sterling Danmark and is in excellent vintage condition.

Niels Erik From (1908-86) was a jewellery company named after their founder. They were established in Copenhagen in 1931 and produced work in varying styles in keeping with the fashions of the day. They developed modernist designs in the 1970s when these were at the height of popularity.
