Torque and bangle set, GFAB and SSA Sweden 1960s-70s

Torque and bangle set from Sweden, 1960s-70s. Both pieces are a single piece of metal with a fold to give a sleek and easy-to-wear V-shaped design. The torque is marked 925 SSA (Stockholms Stads Arbetsvårdsbyrå), and bangle 925 GFAB (Guldfynd Ab) — different makers but the same design. It's possible that GFAB bought the design from SSA. 925 indicates the items are made from Sterling silver.

Excellent used condition. The bangle has minor surface marks commensurate with wear.

Torque diameter c12.5cm, bangle diameter c6cm. Total weight 50g.

Stockholms Stads Arbetsvårdsbyrå (SSA) was a silversmith in Stockholmfrom 1966-78. 

Guldfynd Ab (GFAB), or Gold Finds,  is a leading Swedish jewellery company founded in 1951 and still operating throughout Sweden today.
