These elegant kinetic spiral earrings for pierced ears have a lightly frosted finish. The spiral section can rotate inside a ring attached to the earring post. They are made of Sterling silver and the butterflies are marked 'Lapponia'  '925'. They weigh 13 grams.

The earrings are is excelllent condition with no visible scratches or dents.

Zoltán Popovitz (1940 -), primarily a sculptor, studied architecture and art in the USA and then went to Finalnd to study at the Finnish Academy of Art in 1965. He initially produced sculpture and ceramics, including working with the Arabia ceramics factory, before working as a designer for Lapponia in 1975. Many of his designs have organic and folded designs, include combinations of different materials, and align with the Lapponia style created by Björn Weckström.

Since 1966 Popovits’ work has been shown in solo exhibitions and in group exhibitions both in Finland and abroad.
