Stuart Devlin (1931-2018) was born in Australia but spent most of his career as a silver and goldsmith in England. He moved to England in 1965 where he set up a design studio. He designed a wide range of items but is best known for his modernist designs in silver and gold. He received a Royal Warrant from The Queen in 1982. Some of his silver designs were also made in stainless steel by Viners of Sheffield.
