An enamelled silver pot from J Torstrup in Norway. Interestingly there is a clear plastic coating over the enamel. This is stamped for Sterling silver and bears the maker's mark but left unsigned. We are pretty sure the designer is Grete Prytz Kittelsen (1917-2010). She worked for them after 1941 and the use of plastic and enamel together is a common feature in her designs.
Excellent condition.
