A pair of handbeaten silver punch mugs by Eric Löfman for MGAB, Uppsala, Sweden. Full Swedish hallmarks for 830 continental-grade silver, 1978, and Löfman's signature in script.
Excellent condition with minor tarnish.
Erik Löfman (1925-94) was a Swedish silversmith. He joined Markströms Guldsmed AB (MGAB) in 1948 and produced many designs for them. He produced modernist designs for tablewares, decorative objects and Church silver. Examples of his work can be found in Uppsala Museum.
