Excellent condition.

Nanny Still (1926-2009) was one of the leading post-war women designers from Finland. She began her work at the Riihimäen Lasi glass factory in 1949. Like her contemporary at Orrefors in Sweden, Ingeborg Lundin, she brought a fresh perspective to her glass designs. Often sculptural in form, she introduced bold space-age shapes with bright colours rather than making reference to nature or more organic designs. While there are some high-end pieces, many of her glass designs were mass produced making them both accessible and recognisable. She was also a prolific designer of glass table-wares for which she has also become well-known.
