Eva Englund large ball vase in blue and green tones with iridescent swirls for Strömbergshyttan, Sweden 1997. Label attached. Engraved signature to the base: Strömbergshyttan Eva Englund 97. One of the last pieces she designed.

Excellent condition.

Eva Englund (1937-98) was a glass designer who started out at Pukeberg during the period 1964-73 when she then moved to Orrefors and stayed there until 1990. For the rest of her life she worked as a freelance designer. She specialised in delicate graal pieces often with motifs from nature or faces of people. Her work is receiving recognition and can be found in the National Museum in Stockholm.
