Mona Morales-Schildt medium blue glass bowl, Kosta, Sweden 1960s. Signed on the base Kosta SH 187. Original Atrium shop sticker still attached on the base.
Excellent condition. Internal blue coloured spot. No damage.
Mona Morales Schildt (1908-99) started out as a ceramics designer for Gustavsberg but is best know for her glass designs for Kosta where she worked from 1958-71. She is best know for her Ventana series with pieces having layers of glass of different colours that create a window effect when you look through them. Her work is represented in numerous museums including the National Museum in Stockholm.
