Nils Landberg Grey somerso glass bowl for Orrefors, Sweden c1950s. Marks to the base: Orrefors N 3538-828. The N was the code used for Landberg. Orrefors Red sticker intact the colour denotes a factory first.
Nils Landberg (1907-91) studied at the Industrial Design School in Gothenberg before joining Orrefors in 1925. He worked for them until his retirement in 1972. He is best known for his tulip glass goblets on tall, improbably thin looking stems but designed a full range of glass items for Orrefors. His work is held in museums worldwide.
