The Orrefors Gallery was an annual, catalogued selection of pieces of art glass that ran during the 1980s and early 1990s. As well as reproducing some classic designs from earlier times, Orrefors used this series to commission designs, often Graal and Ariel pieces, from leading glass designers that were issued as very limited editions. They are now regarded as some of the best pieces of glass design from that period and are highly sought after by collectors.

Olle Alberius (1923-96) was a leading designer of both glass and ceramics in Sweden in the post-war years. Most of his glass designs were produced by Orrefors, including in their prestigious Orrefors Gallery series which ran annually during the 1980s and early 1990s. His work can be found in the National Museum of Art and Design in Stockholm.
