Germund Paaer bronze ‘Moon Goddess’ pendant for Kalevala Koru, Finland

Kinetic bronze ‘Moon Goddess’ pendant designed by Germund Paaer in the 1940s for Kalevala Koru, Finland.  The pendant is approximately 10 cm and chain 66 cm. 

Excellent vintage condition.

Kalevala is a design company which was set up in the 1930s by Finnish women who began selling jewellery with the aim of funding a statue but their income was actually to help women and families who were victims of war. In September 2020 Kalevala and Lapponia companies merged into the new Kalevala brand.
