Two unique vases by Astrid Gate for Johansfors Sweden 1996

Tow unique glass vases in peach and blue with a plant and butterfly pattern.These are signed and dated 1996 and are marked as unik (unique). The use a similar pattern and are numbered 0103 and 0104 suggesting they are part of a series of designs.

Excellent used condition.

The taller vase (numbered 0103) is 23 cm high

The flared vase (numbered 0104) is 14.5 cm high

Astrid Gate (1956 - ) is a leading Swedish glass designer working today. She is also the granddaughter of Simon Gate - seen as the founding figure in Twentieth Century Swedish glass design. Her work typically uses animal and nature motifs.
