Jaap Ravelli (1916-2011) was a leading Twentieth Century Dutch ceramicist who was active from 1947-77 at Valkenburg. His studio produced both tablewares and art pottery. He was a leading figure in the development of the mid-century style in ceramics in his country. His work is widely collected.
