Elegant modernist pendant with oval polished onyx by Niels Erik From, Denmark 1960s-70s. 

This is a beautifully finished piece of jewellery in excellent vintage condition. Marks: N.E. From (in script) 925S Sterling Danmark.

Niels Erik From (1908-86) was a jewellery company named after their founder. They were established in Copenhagen in 1931 and produced work in varying styles in keeping with the fashions of the day. They developed modernist designs in the 1970s when these were at the height of popularity.
