This fabulous statement ring by Niels Erik From, Denmark, features a large, polished black onyx 3x2.5 cm. The ring is adjustable.  

It is in very good vintage condition and bears the marks N E From 925S Sterling Danmark.

Niels Erik From (1908-86) was a jewellery company named after their founder. They were established in Copenhagen in 1931 and produced work in varying styles in keeping with the fashions of the day. They developed modernist designs in the 1970s when these were at the height of popularity.
