Âke Edwall (1926-89) was a Swedish artist who studied art in Stockholm and Paris. In the late 1950s he also spect some time in the USA. Most of his career, however, was spent is Sweden. As well as working as an artist he also worked for the Nordic Council until 1971. His work is in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art in Stockholm.
