Ulrika Hydman Vallien hand painted Open Minds footed pedestal glass bowl in orange-red for Kosta Boda 1980s. This is model 50008 and is one of six colours used for this model. Individually hand painted and signed on the back of the bowl Ulrike  HV/ES.

Excellent used condition.

Ulrika Hydman Vallien (1938-2017) was a glass designer for Kosta best known for her hand-painted glass. She started out as a ceramicist but began to specialise in glass after 1972. Her work is held in collections worldwide.
