Claes Thell Stoneware wall plaque with abstract design. Hoganas, Sweden. Signed in the clay on the front. Limited edition numbered 87/250 on the back.

Excellent condition.

Claes Thell (1943-2019) was a leading studio ceramicist based in Hoganas, Sweden. He came to prominence there in the 1960s and was well known as someone who experimented with both shapes and glazes. Examples of his work are in the National Museum in Stockholm.
