Sven Palmqvist Kraka bowl for Orrefors, Sweden. c1960s. Signed Orrefors PU3366. P denoted this was designed by Palmqvist. In beautiful shades of blue and amber.

Sven Palmqvist (1906-84)  worked for Orrefors in Sweden from 1941 to 1971. As well as producing etched glass of high quality in the 1940s he went on to design a number of ranges often deploying new glass techniques such as the Kraka, Fuga and Ravenna series. He was a major figure in the development of Swedish glass.
